How do I add a child?

We take privacy and security very seriously, so we only allow parents to invite other people to contribute to their child. If you want to support a family member, ask the parent of your loved one to download NuMoola and invite you to the family. If you are a parent, simply go to the “Manage” menu option, then click the “Add Child” button and enter the relevant details.

How do I remove a child?

I don’t want to pay my child an allowance. Do I still need to set-up the payment details?

Yes, even if you are not paying your child a weekly amount, we use the frequency and pay date to make other payments associated with chores.  So just enter $0.00 for the allowance amount and then the chores that your child completes will get paid based on the parameters you entered for the allowance.

Why do I have to link my bank account to NuMoola?

We are helping your child(ren) become responsible for making smart decisions, and it’s our philosophy that the best way to help is to let them learn with real money. So we link your bank account in order to transfer real money to their debit card and to enable your kids to spend money in the real world!
